Are you curious about the intricate world of local wildlife?
Join us in the north meadow of Hawk Cliff Woods the evening of June 19th to explore the fascinating world of moths. In partnership with St. Thomas Field Naturalist Club, and with the guidance of moth expert, Ecological Restoration Practitioner, and Climate Hero, Mary Gartshore, we will observe moths up close and dive into their importance and uniqueness in local habitats. Moth sheets and lights will be used to attract an array of moth species that reside amongst the newly restored meadow. All ages and levels of nature lovers are welcome!
Registration and ticket purchase are required for this event. Kids can register for free (please indicate as a +1). Ticket sales will be divided by TTLT and St. Thomas Field Naturalist Club to directly fund future outdoor experiences and inspire local connections to nature.
