Communications Specialist, seasonal contract

Location: Hybrid – London, Ontario office and some remote work
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, typically Monday to Thursday with occasional Friday, evening, and weekend work
Term: Contract position for 8 - 16 weeks (depending on funding)
Compensation: $18.60/hour
Start Date: April 27th, 2025 (negotiable)

The Communications Specialist will engage different audiences in nature conservation through a variety of communications and outreach initiatives. The position provides the opportunity to build skills and gain experience in creating content and graphics for communications, coordinating and assisting with events, and data management, as well as professional development opportunities where applicable. Work will be done primarily at the TTLT office with some work-from-home days, and event locations.

Ecological Technician, seasonal contract

Location: London, Ontario and various nature reserves
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, typically Monday to Thursday with occasional Friday, evening, and weekend work
Term: Contract position for 8 - 16 weeks (depending on funding)
Compensation: $18.60/hour
Start Date: April 27th, 2026 (negotiable)

The main role of the Ecological Technician will be to assist with conservation and ecosystem restoration at our nature reserves. This is an opportunity to build your skills and experience in topics such as invasive species management and species-at-risk conservation. Ecological Technicians primarily work outside in nature and must be comfortable working off trail in any weather conditions.

Conservation Intern, full-time 10-month contract

Location: London, Ontario, with travel to field sites up to 1 hour from London
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, typically worked between Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with some evening and weekend work as needed
Term: Full-time, 10-month contract
Compensation: $22.00/hr
Start Date: May 11th, 2026 (negotiable)

The Conservation Intern will join TTLT’s stewardship team to mitigate threats to biodiversity as well as enhance ecological integrity on more than 2,600 acres of land within TTLT’s focal area in Southwestern Ontario. This position involves work in both an office environment and outside in nature. Candidates must be comfortable working off trail and in any weather conditions.
