We live in a unique natural region - the Carolinian Zone. With its incredibly diverse range of climate, habitats, and species, it's integral to protect this land we call home. Yet, it's facing high demands due to the accelerating climate crisis and rapid urban development in this area. London is one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada, and as a result, the water, green spaces, and wildlife we know and love are at risk more than ever before. Nature needs us to do more, faster, and now, so we can see a green future and continue to enjoy the wonders of our natural world.

We're committed to meeting this need and doing everything we can to protect the nature we all love, and we need your help.

The Nature Nearby campaign will raise $10 million to accelerate our mission to new heights. Your generous gifts protect 1,500 acres of forest, grassland, wetland, and important agricultural land, in addition to the 2,300+ already protected in our network. You will be helping conservation take a step forward as we will increase organizational capacity to ensure all living beings have a healthy place to live.

With these natural areas nearby and thriving, we can also continue to enjoy the wonders they have to offer through enhanced access to trails and boardwalks, community events, and educational programming. 

With the generous support of early gifts and pledges, the campaign is already off to a strong start! $6.5 million of the $10 million goal has already been raised, and 543 acres of protected land have been secured towards our 1,500-acre target. 

Although the finish line is in sight, we need your support to carry this campaign to the end. Your generous gift - whether it be a one-time contribution, a multi-year pledge, or a legacy donation - will help to grow conservation across our region. All donations will directly support the Nature Nearby Campaign, protecting the lands that make this place home.
