Interested in getting outside in nature, green exercise, and helping the environment? Look no further! Nature for Nurture is a free program offered in partnership with CMHA Middlesex. It aims to improve the wellbeing of both people and the environment!
This season, we'll be exploring some of London's many parks and natural spaces as well as visiting some of TTLT's natural properties for guided hikes (mood walks) and hands-on stewardship activities.
Join us for this FREE visit to Hawk Cliff Woods! Hawk Cliff Woods sits on the shore of Lake Erie near Port Stanley, ON. The trail is easy and about 2km for a gentle pace. We will walk in the meadow and through the woods, and finish up at the wildflower garden. We will then plant flowers in the garden and have a "focus group" discussion.
When: May 28, 2019 at 9am - 2pm.
Where: Hawk Cliff Woods, 4435 Hawk Cliff Road, Union, ON, N0L 2L0 (If you want to meet us at Hawk Cliff Woods, please contact us to let us know. We will be at Hawk Cliff Woods from approximately 10am - 1pm)
Meeting place for the bus: Meet at the plaza on the corner of Wellington & Commissioners – beside East Side Mario’s
387 Wellington Rd, London, ON N6C 4P9. If taking the bus with us, please arrive at 9am to register. The bus will leave promptly at 9:15am. We will return back to East Side Mario's by 2pm.

About Nature for Nurture
Nature for Nurture is hosted by Thames Talbot Land Trust and Canadian Mental Health Association - Middlesex. The program includes Mood Walks in London's natural spaces and bus trips to TTLT's nature properties. Participants enjoy the wellness benefits of exercising in nature, while also helping the environment through hands on stewardship activities.
