Nature for Nurture is a free program offered in partnership with CMHA Middlesex. It aims to improve the wellbeing of both people and the environment!

2019 Schedule

Please wear comfortable shoes for hiking (hiking shoes, athletic shoes etc.) and dress for the weather.

Remember to bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray.

July – Medway Forest Trail

Difficulty Level: EASY
Medway Forest trail is a 7.7 km lightly trafficked loop trail that features a great forest setting. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and snowshoeing. Path is unpaved


2nd: 11-12pm Meet in front of the Museum of Ontario Archaeology – 1600 Attawandaron rd.

9th: 11-12pm Meet in front of the Museum of Ontario Archaeology – 1600 Attawandaron rd.

16th: 11-12pm Meet in front of the Museum of Ontario Archaeology – 1600 Attawandaron rd.

23rd: 11-12pm Meet in front of the Museum of Ontario Archaeology – 1600 Attawandaron rd.

30th: 11-12pm Meet in front of the Museum of Ontario Archaeology – 1600 Attawandaron rd.

 

August – Warbler Woods

Difficulty Level: Moderate
Warbler is a 3.4 Km lightly trafficked out and back trail. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily
used for hiking, walking and trail running. Path is unpaved.
