Think all asters look the same? 

Join us for a volunteer training where you’ll learn to spot the subtle and sometimes complex differences between Ontario’s beautiful native asters. We’ll explore identification keys, tools, and tips for this challenging flower family and then head outside for a short ID walk and some field practice. Late summer and early fall are peak bloom times for asters, making for an ideal opportunity to get up close and learn about these tricky wildflowers.

This is an advanced level identification training, but all who are eager to learn are welcome.
