With David Wake and Winifred Wake at Joany’s Woods
Spring wildflower season is an exciting time to explore TTLT’s largest nature reserve, Joany’s Woods near Parkhill. The display of native wildflowers features many sizes, colours and forms. Varied topography creates numerous microhabitats. These range from ridges and slopes in upland hardwoods to hummocks and flowing water in forested wetlands. Naturalists David and Winifred Wake will introduce you to the rich biodiversity of this section of the Ausable River corridor. Be prepared for muddy conditions.
