Cello and poetry with Luc Julian and Penn Kemp at Meadowlily Nature Preserve
Please note: this event has been rescheduled from June 21st to June 28th
Listening to the breeze, birdsong, and a bubbling creek has many healing benefits. In the forest, each season and being sings its own song. Join us for Sounds of The Forest, a musical performance and poetry reading celebrating the beginnings of summer in Meadowlily Nature Preserve. Penn Kemp will share her nature-inspired poetry, accompanied by cellist Luc Julian, as he transforms poetic words into a unique sound experience.
Bring your lawn chair, a shade umbrella, and your ears for a delightful hour listening to the sounds of the forest!
Registration is recommended but not required. Event may be subject to change or postponement due to unforeseen circumstances and only those registered and on our email list will be contacted. Directions and additional information will be provided at time of registration.
Penn's reading is sponsored by the League of Canadian Poets and the Canada Council for the Arts.
