Passport to Nature Tree ID & Forest Health; Saturday, Sept 9; Sitler Woods; 1pm-3pm; Thames Talbot Land Trust logo in bottom left corner; evergreen tree graphic in top left corner; forest photo along the right side of the graphic; photo credit to David WakeWith Donald Craig at Sitler Woods (near Wardsville, ON)

The Carolinian Zone of southwestern Ontario is home to a great diversity of tree species. Join Donald Craig, a professional forester with over 40 years of experience, for a leisurely walk in the woods. 🌲 Donald will help us identify different trees and also explain how diseases, insects, invasive plants and other factors affect our native trees and forests. Sitler Woods, located in the heart of the Skunk's Misery forest complex near Wardsville, ON, features Carolinian species such as Tulip Tree and Sassafras.

Trails may be wet or muddy - please wear appropriate footwear and get ready for a tree-tacular time!
