POSTPONED Passport to Nature: Introduction to the Night Sky

This event has been postponed due to weather conditions

Come and admire the summer stars, constellations and Milky Way with Trevor Chandler, professional geoscientist and experienced amateur astronomer. The crescent moon and three bright planets should be visible this night. Learn how to distinguish Venus, Jupiter and Saturn and observe the sunrise on the Moon, plus craters, and lunar maria.

A telescope will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars or telescope. Please dress warmly.

This event is subject to COVID regulations at the time. If necessary, this event will be held as a webinar.
