Save the Date for the Hawk Cliff Woods Migration Weekend!
Are you ready to see hawks and other raptors up close and learn about the fascinating lifecycle of the Monarch butterfly? Then join us for the annual Hawk Cliff Woods Migration Weekend event on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Hawk Cliff Woods (4435 Hawk Cliff Road, Union, ON). The Hawk Cliff Raptor Banders are back to talk about the hawk migration along Lake Erie and show you some of the species their work involves. New to the event is Kathryn Boothby who will regale you with the wonderful world of Monarchs (which also migrate along Lake Erie).
This event is free and does not require registration. Feel free to pop in any time throughout either day! Parking will be made available, but space is limited and the gate will close at 4pm - please consider carpooling with others if possible.
