We have completed the expansion of Hawk Cliff Woods, thanks to the support of many generous donors! Join us for a tour to celebrate the completion of this incredible project on July 26th at 10:30am. The event will include speeches, hikes through the new meadows, refreshments and brainstorming for the future of the site. Come see the wildflowers in bloom and the wildlife enjoying the new habitat! Bring binoculars, field guides, and your camera to capture the beautiful vistas. 

Important event details:

- The event will be under a shelter with shade and seating.

- It may be a hot day so please come prepared for the weather, especially if you plan to hike through the meadow. Sunhats and sunblock are a must.

- There will be parking along the road and also some closer to the event shelter. 

- The terrain is uneven at the event site and on the hikes. Please wear appropriate footwear.

- There will be a portable toilet on site.

- You may encounter ticks at this nature reserve. Be sure to check for ticks before leaving the site and once you get home. More info on ticks is available here.
