Join us at the Happy Habitats Festival on Saturday, August 10th from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Westminster Ponds Centre for some free, family-friendly fun at this drop-in event!
12 PM: Start your day off right with face painting and exploring different habitats through a variety of activities like a scavenger hunt, garbage pick up competition, and more!
1 PM: Learn about reptiles and the habitats they call home with Sciensational Snakes, who will also give you the chance to hold some of the reptile friends they bring along.
2 PM: Get your hands dirty with ReForest London as they show you how to remove Buckthorn, a harmful shrub that make habitats not so happy. Face painting and other activities will also still be running.
3 PM: Sciensational Snakes is back with a second presentation in case you were unable to make it to the first one!
RAINDATE: Sunday, August 11th from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Westminster Ponds Centre (944 Western Counties Rd).
This event is generously funded by Stantec and the City of London.
