For one afternoon this fall, Corner's Corner invites you to enjoy its wonders. On Sunday, October 18, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Thames Talbot Land Trust and the St. Thomas Field Naturalists are welcoming the community back to the beloved sixty-acre property at the corner of Fruit Ridge Line and Yarmouth Centre Road in Central Elgin. 

The Corner family walked these trails for more than a century and welcomed the public for decades. Thames Talbot Land Trust is now working in partnership with the current owners to purchase Corner's Corner, protect it in perpetuity, and reopen the trails for good. Your generous contributions, word of mouth, and passion for this place will help us achieve this monumental goal. Together, we will refresh Corner’s Corner as a sanctuary for nature lovers, a place for connection, and a safe haven for local wildlife.

Join us for an expert-led or self-guided hike through the mature Carolinian forest, learn about the land's rich history and biodiversity, and finish with cozy fall refreshments. 

The event is free. However, we are looking to the community for help. We’re almost there, but need a final push to secure the funding required to protect this land forever.
