Passport to Nature: Wildflower Gardens and Butterflies

“Just living is not enough”, said the butterfly, “One must have freedom, sunshine and a little flower” - Hans Christian Anderson

It’s not quite that simple but the little flowers help. At Hawk Cliff we have created an accessible native wildflower garden.  Kim McCabe, landscape designer, will explain how the Auzins Wildflower Garden was designed and created.  Participants will learn how to select and grow native wildflowers that nurture our birds, butterflies and wildlife in Southwestern Ontario.  Afterwards there will be a leisurely walk to view the flowers and butterflies in the nearby meadows in the Hawk Cliff nature reserve.

Registration is required, available on Eventbrite
