Each September, armed with an insect net and a Wildlife Tagging License, Bruce Parker tags over 200 Monarch butterflies as part of an ongoing study by the Entomology Department of the University of Kansas.  Bruce has tagged over 3000 Monarchs since 1998. He is a member of Monarch Watch, Monarch Health, and Nature London.  His presentation will focus on the biology, tagging, and migration of the species.  Afterwards, we will look for butterflies in the nearby meadow.
