About the Fun:

This year we are excited to offer 4 guided hike fundraising options to choose from. The hikes range in length from approximately 700 m to 3.5 km and all should be completed within an hour.

The Curious Chickadee Walk (Level 1, Slow)

An epic interpretive hike with active learning activity designed for kids and the young at heart. Join TTLT ecologist/educator Daria for a gentle-paced, 700 metre stroll through a variety of habitats where you will learn about the local ecosystem and practice your observation skills as you search for plants and animals to complete your eco bingo card.

The Brisk Blue Jay Walk (Level 2, Fast)

Get your feet moving and your heart pumping with a brisk walk led by Rebecca, TTLT ecologist and certified hike leader extraordinaire! Experience the diversity of pond ecosystems on this 3-3.5 km interpretive hike looping around the ponds, along boardwalks and through a restoration area.

The Wise Owl Walk (Level 2, Moderate)

Exercise your body and your mind by joining this stimulating hike led by TTLT President, biologist and environmental planner Dave. Learn about the area's local history including efforts to protect Westminster Ponds ESA for future generations on this 1.5 km interpretive conservation walk.

The Captivating Cardinal Walk (Level 2, Moderate)

Put your busy life on hold and just relish in the beauty of your surroundings on this ecology focused hike led by environmental consultant, TTLT volunteer and all round nature enthusiast, Will. Learn about the environmental significance of the area, ecology of wetland and forest ecosystems and disturbance history on this 1.5 km nature walk.

After completing your hike, it's time to celebrate! Meet us inside to warm up with a premium cup of tea donated by The Tea Haus and visit over a delicious lunch catered by Growing Chefs - London
