Who is TTLT?


The Thames Talbot Land Trust is a Canadian Registered Charity. The organization is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected annually by our membership.  Our staff includes an Executive Director, Conservation Property Manager, a Development and Communications Officer, Conservation Property Manager and Stewardship Coordinator. 


A member of the Ontario Land Trust Alliance (OLTA)

olta_logo.pngTTLT is a member of the Ontario Land Trust Alliance (OLTA), which serves as an umbrella organization for Ontario's 37 land trusts. 

OLTA provides administrative and professional support to its member groups, including a variety of educational programs which enhance the knowledge and skills of TTLT Board members and other volunteers. OLTA's annual gathering and other events are open to anyone with an interest in the land trust movement.

Canadian Land Trust Standards and Practices

clta-logo.pngTTLT is committed to a high standard of operation in its governance, land securement and stewardship practices. In its operations, TTLT is guided by the Canadian Land Trust Standards and Practices, which provides a framework for operating a land trust in an effective and ethical manner. TTLT is a member of the Canadian Land Trust Alliance (CLTA).
