Ready, Set, Shoot!
Photographers are invited to submit images of “Vistas of the Thames River” for the 2015 Thames Talbot Land Trust (TTLT) Photography Contest. The contest is designed to raise awareness and funds for the land-trust. The top 25 entries will be featured in the inspirational “Vistas of the Thames” poster created when the contest closes in the fall of 2015. The photo contest and poster is a legacy project marking a big milestone in 2015, the 15th anniversary of the TTLT.

A childhood playground of mine and still one of my favourite places to go for a quiet hile. Solace in the city.
The sun had set on the Thames River at Springbank Park London Ontario as I ran through the trails.
As you can see, these are turtles and not a great blue heron! I uploaded the wrong picture and there is no option to change the title....This was taken deep in Meadowlily woods on the North east side of the Thames River. Meadowlily Woods is an environmentally significant area that is in danger of being developed.
This elegant fisher was so focused on the task at hand that it let me observe from close quarters for nearly an hour
It was one of the coldest days of winter and the fountain was spraying ice particles into the Thames!
