The Messenger

Thames Talbot Land Trust
Join TTLT tonight at 7:00 at the Hyland Cinema for a showing of The Messenger, a film that explores the plight of songbirds worldwide as they navigate the many perils of our modern world.  Featuring slow-motion sequences of birds in flight, the film was shot in part at London’s Western University.  What might the decline of many songbirds signal for our own species?  Ranging from Canada’s boreal forests to Turkey’s Mount Ararat, The Messenger balances its examination of worrisome trends with hopeful elements in a stunning work of cinematography.

Hyland Members and Children (16 and under): $8.00;

Non-members: $12.00

A portion of the proceeds from tonight's show will support the Thames Talbot Land Trust.

The Hyland Cinema is located at 240 Wharncliffe Road South in London.  Overflow parking is available on Duchess Street (either side) or Elmwood Street (south side).  For more information please visit our events page.
