How GivingTuesday helps the Thames Talbot Land Trust (TTLT)

This is a great opportunity for you to double your impact as TTLT has found match donors. These match donors have committed to matching donations that come in during the month of November until December 3rd for up to a total of $5000. These donations will go to the highest priority needs of TTLT. We are grateful to any donation that can be made and each donation will receive a charitable receipt.

Please make donations through this link, to TTLT's page on the GivingTuesday website.

What is GivingTuesday?

Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday … now we have GivingTuesday, December 3, 2019. It is a new global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday, the giving community has come together for GivingTuesday. We ask that partners create and commit to a project for GivingTuesday and then help spread the word to their networks.

Did GivingTuesday make a difference last year?

Over 6,500 partners came together for the 6th annual GivingTuesday in Canada in 2018. The movement also went Global, with activities in every country of the world. Canadian online giving has increased by +785% since 2012 as measured by CanadaHelps. More than $15M was donated online on GivingTuesday last year.
