Driedger Tract was donated to TTLT by Al and Lilianne Driedger, who wanted to protect the natural features of the land in perpetuity. This nature reserve is part of the Five Points Forest Wetland Complex, a designated Provincially Significant Wetland (PSW).

Description:

These nature reserves lie on a gently rolling moraine that consists of mixed coniferous-deciduous upland forest and forest swamp. Forest habitats have a variety of trees, including Black Cherry, Eastern Hemlock, and Swamp White Oak. The wetlands host many reptile, amphibian, and bird species. Wetland plant species include Marsh Skullcap, Swamp Milkweed, and Spotted Jewelweed. There is also a small meadow habitat that has several Goldenrods and Asters. This nature reserve hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including several sensitive species and species at risk.

Driedger Tract is open to the public and contains a beautiful trail. To know more about the trail, click here.
